Abstract

|
In order to investigate the efficacy of combined preparations of crude drug, first, "Kamisamhwang-Tang" were examined for pharmacological effect. Crude drug preparations were extracted successively with H₂O and MeOH, and the extracts were developed on silicagel G plate were examined using the Dual-Wavelength TLC Scanner CS-910 (Schimadzu) in ultra violet region. To estimate the clinical usefulness of "Kamisamhwang-Tang" in heart disease (Symbyung syndrome), the above extracts were made an experiment on effects of the anticonvulsion, antipyretic, analgesic and sedative in mice, rats, and rabbits.
